Origin Broadband review: every page on the subject
Origin is no longer selling broadband and its own domain no longer resolves. What happened, and what to do if you had an account.
Origin Broadband is finished. It was acquired by TalkTalk Group in 2021 and reported to have ceased trading, with customers moved to Utility Warehouse, and its own domain no longer returns a DNS record at all. That is about as clear a signal as a departing brand leaves behind.
One caution about the search results for this name. "Origin" is also an Australian energy and internet brand, so a search for an Origin review returns NBN pages that have nothing to do with the UK company. The review page here is about the UK one only, and says so before anything else.
The switching page is in the collection for the practical case rather than the historical one. An account inherited through an acquisition sits on a contract somebody else signed, and the clauses that matter are the exit ones. The provider index covers who is still selling.
